Palm Project
The Palm Jumeirah Project represents the epitome of coastal serenity.
Upon entry, guests are immediately swept away into an enchanting interior where the boundaries between indoors and outdoors fade into insignificance. The interplay of natural light and meticulously placed coastal-inspired elements create an ethereal space, where time slows down and the worries of the world melt away.
The sand-toned palette is harmonious, selected to recall sun-kissed beaches and soft, powdery shores. Each carefully selected accent is inspired by the vastness of the ocean, breathing life into the space and creating a sanctuary that offers an escape from the pace of everyday living. Each of the senses is captivated by the charm of hand-embroidered wallpaper, delicately adorned with patterns reminiscent of ocean waves and marine life.
The bedrooms have also been designed with a sea-scape inspiration. Here, the gentle breeze whispers through billowing curtains, carrying with it the faint scent of saltwater, setting the scene for utmost tranquility and relaxation.
Kids’ Bedroom and Guest Bedroom
The children’s bedroom and guest bedroom carry the same sea-scape inspiration through in miniature — playful without losing the sense of calm that runs through the rest of the home, and finished to the same standard as the principal rooms rather than treated as an afterthought.
The Sleeping Hall and Study
In the sleeping hall, billowing curtains and a gentle, breeze-like quality to the fabrics set the scene for rest; the adjoining study room was designed as a quieter counterpoint — a place for focus that still belongs unmistakably to the rest of the home.
Kitchen and Bar
The kitchen and bar area brings the scheme’s coastal materials into a space built for gathering — practical for daily family life, but finished with the same considered detail as the more formal reception rooms.
An International Perspective
The Palm Project reflects the approach LUMI brings to residential commissions across our studios in Dubai, London and Dallas — a coastal, calming scheme built for a family who wanted their home to feel like an escape.
